We worked for an east coast family looking to relocate to the Point Dume neighborhood in Malibu. They ultimately purchased an ultra modern home with designs to demolish it and build a hacienda compound on the property. Unfortunately, as the case sometime is in Malibu (where development is a full contact occupation) neighbor opposition to a larger house caused them to pivot and simply update the original house and add numerous site amenities. While we were disappointed, and disagreed with the premise of the opposition, we whole heartedly jumped into the revised project, learned a thing or two about tube steel aesthetic, and enhanced an existing and notable design.
